“Are you sick?” you hear.
“No, I’m fine, why?” You respond while thinking, “Thanks for saying I look like crap! “
“Oh, you just look sick.”
Sound familiar? Dark circles can be so pesky! So besides extra sleep (which we all know we need to be getting anyway, so why even bother mentioning that as an option, right?) what concealers are the best at making you look awake and amazing!? I’m glad you asked!
These are the best concealers due to longevity and pigmentation (coverage).
This is for you if you haven’t slept in 3 weeks and you drink 18 cups of coffee a day to stay awake. This stuff covers EVERYTHING. It’s the thick, creamy war paint of moms. It’s the “I was up all night with a teething baby who is having a growth spurt and I still came to work this morning.” concealer.
“I pulled an all nighter studying for finals.”
“Really? You look like you’ve slept!”
“Nope. Not at all.”
“Oh come on! You hardly even look tired!”
It! Cosmetics has a great under eye concealer, it’s creamy, easy to apply, doesn’t feel cakey at all. It also has amazing anti-aging benefits and helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Who doesn’t want to look young forever?
It’s no secret that MAC is a leader in the cosmetic industry and has been for a long time. There’s a reason for it; their products are amazing. I never believe the hype but once I got my first MAC product I was hooked for life. So this is a warning; if you buy one MAC product, you’ll want them all.
This longwear concealer is great for a natural medium – full coverage look and has a matte finish, unlike many concealers which dry with a dewey finish.
Smashbox is another pro-artist favorite, their BB Cream Eyes has moisturizing benefits while hiding the fact that you marathoned Friends all night long on Netflix.
This is one of my personal favorites. This is more for if you were dreaming about Channing Tatum and woke up right before you kissed him, then got so mad that you couldn’t fall back to sleep. It’s light weight and has amazing coverage.
Were your favorite concealers mentioned? If not, what’s your favorite? I want to hear from you! 🙂
