Today I’m going to show you how to make a flax egg. It’s super easy! It’s great for when you’re baking things like waffles, cakes, pies, etc. I’ve been all about finding things that are allergy friendly lately, because I’ve encountered so many issues in my family with allergies. From milk, to gluten, to eggs and nuts, but I still want them to be able to enjoy the foods that I do, so I’ve been learning to make substitutions and surprisingly they aren’t all that different from normal! Makes life happier 🙂
How to make a flax egg:
1 TBSP milled or ground flax seed
3 TBSP water
Let rest for 5 minutes in the fridge, voila! You have your own flax egg 🙂
